This project involved the transformation of an existing pool house with a new sloped roof producing an open cathedral ceiling interior. The new roof is supported by open wood timber trusses and exposed tongue and groove wood decking. The design evokes an oriental aesthetic with the roof pitch, overhangs and symmetry. A separate free standing pavilion on the east side of the pool provides shelter from the sun or rain.
