This project consisted of a new pergola design for a proposed garden in this Spanish-revival home on the east side of South Bend. The owner’s desire was to screen a new hardscape courtyard and fountain from a rear alley. This pergola provides a foil to frame the courtyard and fountain and provide a place for entertaining small groups.
