Studebaker Administration Building

Kil Architecture/Planning prepared a preliminary design and code study of the former Studebaker Administration Building in South Bend. This 120,000 square foot, 4 story building was proposed as an office, using Historic and New Market Tax credits to underwrite a portion of the project. The building most recently served as the headquarters of the South Bend Community School Corporation Administrative Offices. The building was designed by the Chicago Architect Solon Beman and was built in 1908 and was occupied by the Studebaker Corporation until 1964.
