Architectural Designer, Interiors & Marketing
Jessica has been with Kil Architecture / Planning since 2019 and graduated with a Master's in Architecture from Andrews University in 2020. During her final year of graduate school, she and her cohort won several awards for their work on Intsaba Children’s Village, Lodge, and Farm—collaborative projects with SOHO and HOSA in Eswatini, formerly the Kingdom of Swaziland. Since joining Kil Architecture, she has worked on projects ranging from single and multi-family to commercial, ecclesiastical, interiors, and historic preservation and rehabilitation. She is passionate about equitable and sustainable design and enjoys tackling complex and challenging design problems, aiming to provide beautiful and thoughtful solutions that meet clients’ needs. Alongside her design responsibilities, she also serves as the firm's primary visualization artist and handles various marketing tasks for the firm. She enjoys using 3D modeling, rendered images, and video to bring clients' concepts to life.
In her free time, Jessica enjoys a variety of hobbies including different forms of art and dance, trying new recipes, playing sports, and spending quality time with her friends and loved ones. She loves hiking and visiting new places with her dog, Freyja, who regularly joins her at the office.
