This home was designed for an admirer of the distinct architecture of the American Midwest, having grown up on the prairies of Illinois. Working with the relatively narrow lot, we maximized solar exposure by placing the house along the northern setback which exposed the south facade, patio, and yard to natural daylight. A smart HVAC system tracks the home's energy usage and makes adjustments to ensure optimal efficiency.

Focusing on interaction with the golf course and patron amenities, Kil Architecture worked closely with Tonn and Blank Construction, the design-build lead, to deliver a thoughtful design. Updated finishes, additional bar and kitchen spaces, new golf simulators and flex rooms, accessibility upgrades, and a revitalized outdoor terrace comprised most of the work for this project.
