Gregory A. Kil - NCARB, AIA
Principal Architect
Kil holds a Bachelor of Architecture and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design from Ball State University. In 1987, he earned a Master of Architecture with a specialization in Urban Design from the University of Notre Dame. Kil has been a licensed Architect in Indiana and Michigan since 1984 and 1994, respectively. He served as an adjunct professor at the Notre Dame School of Architecture and the Andrews University School of Architecture from 1989 to 1994 and worked as a staff architect for an Etruscan excavation at Poggio Civitate from 1991 to 1994. In 1991, he started Kil Architecture / Planning which has since become a fixture in local architecture and development fields.
An active community member, Kil invests in community development and revitalization. He served on the board for Southold Dance Theater for over a decade and currently sits on the boards for Hemophilia of Indiana, LaSalle Council Boy Scouts of America, and the Ruthmere Foundation. Kil and a group of peers and investors are rehabilitating the Ward Bakery, a local landmark, and converting it into a multi-business space.
Outside of work, Kil enjoys cooking, traveling with his family, and a very enthusiastic puppy. He also participates in various outdoor hobbies and competes in cross-country ski races during the winter.
